"RAIN! GET IN HERE, NOW!" My infuriating owners yelled. "No." I thought to myself, "I will not come in."
"RAIN! QUIT HANGING AROUND!"
"No." I replied. But all they heard was "Meow."
Wait a minute.. Is that HAM I smell?
"Okay im coming!" I mewed hastily.
"At least ill have tonight prowling around the streets... catching mice... teasing dogs.. fighting strays.." These thoughts creeped round my head like rats.

Rosie growled in frustration and then ran to the back door and tried to open it by pushing her paws on the door handle. Luckily it was open. "stupid humans" She murmured and rushed outside and ran around the house and into the front yard.

She leapt over their gate (which was actually fairly small) and began trotting down the stree happily until she met Wolfy. He stormed up to her "There were strays again" he snarled "There were strays in our territory scavanging for food in our territory again."
"Just leave them be, they aren't doing any harm, are they?" muttered Rosie. Wolfy stopped walking "Of course they are doing harm, they get in the way and scare off our humans"
"ooh the horror! We would do better without them" she snarled.
"oh really? you wouldn't survive a day without your human." Wolfy barked.
"Maybe you wouldn't, but I would, just watch me, they don't even look after me" She muttered and kept walking, leaving Wolfy behind.

Ice pads out of the open door. "Humans think we are sooo stupid. They thought I couldn't get out. Idiots." She murmurs irritably.
"Hello, DOG." Says a familiar voice.
"Not YOU again..." Ice groans. "Can't you just leave me alone Rain? Or is that impossible for cats?"
"Huh. Strange words for a dog to say. I thought they where pack animals..."
"SHUT UP!" Barks Ice angrily.
"No, why should I?" Rain counters. "You cant get me up here."
It's true. Ice admitted to herself, not that she would let that arrogant cat know.
"I'm going to my gang." Ice declares. "Ill get Rosie to look after you. She would be able to jump high enough to give you a jolly good bite. You need it!" She snorts, before storming off to Wolfy.

Wolfy sighed and walked back to his house, Rosie always annoyed him, over-confident dog ingeneral annoyed him. Rosie pinned her ears back and kept walking.

Ice paws at the gate, trying to get out. She tries digging under the gate, and it works. Slipping under the hole she just created, she meets Dark. "Hi..." Ice murmurs shyly.
"Hello!" Dark greets her excitedly. "Should we go hunting?"
"Sure." Ice says flatly. Anything was better than Rain...

Rosie wasn't sure if she should announce to the gang if she was going to become a stray, alot of other dogs might even join her since she isn't the only dog who hasn't got the best owner ever. Rosie lifted her head up and looked around. Their usual meeting place wasn't far. She could probably tell them about her leaving.

Ruby looked up. She saw a weird cat staring down at her. She wouldn't usually be rude, but it was a very stressful day, and she was in a bad mood. "What are you staring at? This is MY house! Go away" she hissed.
